Heyyyyyy friend hey. I'm Amy Burke (she/her) and I have lived my entire life in Northeast Ohio. Okay, except for that 10 years I spent in Washington, DC in my 20s - but don’t worry, I still say “pop”, smile when I pass a stranger on the street and love green bean casserole at Thanksgiving dinner (don’t @ me). 

 

In a very circuitous way, the world of events found me about 8 years ago while working at one of the national Museums in DC, where I was apart of some pretty fantastic moments. Trust me, anything you throw at me is nothing compared to working with Secret Service on escape routes for government officials or figuring out how to feed hundreds of guests in under 20 minutes. 

 

In 2019, I pulled a Lebron and decided it was time to come home to Northeast Ohio. Within a month of moving back, I took the biggest leap of my life and opened Amy Burke Events. I haven’t looked back since.

 

I'm here to serve clients who thought they could do it all but as their big day approaches, realize they want to enjoy the moment and leave the logistics to someone else OR they're newly engaged and don’t know where to start. An Amy Burke Events couple is one who is excited to be married (the wedding is icing on the cake), cannot wait to throw a party and want their guests to look back and say "Oh, I wish so-and-so got married everyday."
